Facts about Ramadan, Hajj, and The Five Pillars of Islam

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, smoking and indulging in anything that is in excess or ill-natural from dawn until sunset. Fasting is meant to teach the Muslim patience, modesty, and spiritually. For the sake of their God(Allah in Arabic Language) and to offer prayer more than usual, Muslims do Ramadan.
Hajj is a pilgrimage in Mecca. It is also the fifth pillars of Islam and it is currently the largest annual pilgrimage in the world. The Hajj is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people and their submission to God(Allah in Arabic Language). The pilgrimage occurs in the seventh day to thirteenth day of Islamic Calendar.
Five Pillars of Islam is the term given to the five duties incumbent on every Sunni Muslim and this five practices are essential to Sunni Muslim. These are SHAHADAH which means the profession of faith, SALAH (prayers), ZAKAT (giving of alms), SAWNM (fasting, specifically during Ramadan) and the fifth one is Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).


Thus, most of the Muslims wanted to reach and experience the Ramadan, Hajj, and the Five Pillars of Islam for their God(Allah in Arabic Language) for more prosperity and guidance. Through this happiness will reign in their heart.
